Elsen Academy
Elsen Academy is a unique, mainstream independent school located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, dedicated to fostering the potential of all learners, especially those with special educational needs (dyslexia, ADHD, emotional/social barriers, etc.). We are registered with the education department and as a non-profit organization. We offer a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child receives the support and guidance they need to thrive. Our small class sizes and enhanced curriculum empower learners with 21st-century skills and knowledge to grow into self-confident individuals and the leaders of tomorrow.

Additional Offerings
THERAPY DEPARTMENT
Supportive interventions such as counselling, speech and language, occupational, play and remedial therapy are offered on our premises, meaning learners can do it during school hours without needing to leave the premises.
AFTER-CARE & HOMEWORK CENTRE
Is run on school premises concurrent with the school term and provides a safe environment with homework help and supervision until 5pm daily.
SPORTS
Learn early to have better control of their bodies as well as strength and agility. All learners participate in at least one Physical Education lesson a week. Social interaction is also a key benefit of participating in group sports.
KARATE
Children can take private martial arts lessons in our school hall from 6 to 15 years of age with Sensei Anthea. Children learn to handle bullying, they are taught healthy fitness habits, they develop discipline which obviously influences and encourages good study habits. Contact Sensei Anthea 084 909 4527.
